Ex-President WH Taft will deliver an address at Crawfordsville Friday April 5 at 7 p.m. in the new Wabash College gymnasium. The meeting is under the auspices of the Montgomery County Chamber of Commerce and is in the nature of a benefit for the county Red Cross and French Relief work. Arrangments are being made to seat 4000 people. The sixty-piece military band of Purdue will furnish the music and will also play a short concert. In the afternoon there will be a monster parade which will be reviewed by Ex-Pres Taft and which will be participated in by children of the city schools, the students of Wabash College, the lodges, member of Battery E and other organizations in the county. The whole occasion will be made the opening of the Liberty Loan drive and it has the endorsement of the Council of Defense, the Liberty Loan committee and other patriotic organizations. A monster crowd is sure to be in attendance as the parade will be held after 3 p.m. and the evening meeting starts at 7.
